Dogs Welcome Holiday

Our experience of holidaying with our 4 dogs, taking part in various canine activities and teaching canine behaviour and welfare has influenced our dog friendly features, facilities and ethos at Brynderwen Holidays. 

It is our aim to provide holiday accommodation that is truly dog friendly, so our dog visitors can relax, take part and enjoy their holiday as much as their humans. 

Road or trail orientated there are more Strava sections than one person could ever do!!!

Coach House and Garden

At Brynderwen we welcome households with dogs at no extra cost.  We have included several features, which we hope will make both you and your dog’s stay relaxing and enjoyable:

  • Your own private 1/4-acre enclosed garden 

  • Dogs are allowed in all rooms 

  • A selection of dog towels and blankets are provided

  • Dog welcome pack

  • Mud Daddy and shampoo for after muddy walks

  • A selection of dog activity equipment and paddling pool

  • Information on walks and places to visit.

Dog Exercise and Agility

As well as your own private garden we also provide the following onsite for you and your dog to use during your stay:

  • Dedicated footpath walk and orchard, giving access to a public footpath leading to Llangadog common, river and further walking trails such as Beacons Way and Heart of Wales Line.  

  • Allocated exercise field (subject to availability) 

  • Agility equipment available to hire (£35 per stay)

Dog Friendly Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire is a fantastic place to holiday with your dogs, offering a wide variety of dog friendly places, attractions and hospitality to visit.  Locally to Derwen Coach House are the Brecon Beacons and a variety of forests, lakes and reservoirs, which provide fantastic walking with your dogs.  The village of Llangadog 0.6 miles away, has a range of dog friendly places to eat and drink.  A little further afield are West and and South Wales coast lines, which boast a number of all year round dog friendly beaches.  Many visitor attractions also allow dogs, such as The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Dolaucothi Gold Mines.  So you can truly include your dogs in every aspect of your holiday.
