Q: Are Dogs welcome?
A: Yes, dogs are more than welcome (we welcome mulit-dog households - up to 10 if we have to put a number on it). We have a fenced off dog walk and public footpath straight from the property that leads to the village, common and river. Dogs are allowed in all rooms and have their own welcome basket on arrival. We allocate a private exercise paddock on arrival to accompany your private 1/4 acre garden. You can also hire the use of a full et of 1st Contact agility equipment for the duration of your stay. Wales is very dog friendly and many eating places and visitor attractions welcome dogs, this includes 2 dog friendly pubs and cafe, a 15 minute walk from the Coach House. Further afield we have forests, lakes, mountains and beaches that are great places to take dogs for walks.
Q: How secure is the dog area?
A: Derwen Coach House comes with a large private fenced off outdoor area. It is surrounded by a post and rail fence with stock netting with the aim to keep all but the most cunning escape artists in.
